Michael was spotted in Jakarta by a Vikings scout and added to the rooster in pre-season to tighten up the defence. He makes sure that the defence is awake and on line and that the referee is aware of his presence. His trademark is taking the ball up field in a style not seen since Morten Olsen in the mid-eighties.



Q: How long have you been in Bangkok, Thailand?
A: 8 months

Q: Why do you play football for the Vikings?
A: I like to be part of a team, where it is possible to play football with friendly people, who also organize good parties.

Q: When did you first hear about the Vikings?
A: When moving to Jakarta in August 2000

Q: What previous clubs have you played for (kindly list)?
A: Saedder IF, Herfoelge BK, Vordingborg IF (All Sealandic farmer clubs), FC Harps (Ireland), BTS Neustadt (Germany), Jakarta Vikings

Q: What age did you start playing football?
A: 8 years

Q: Do you do other sports activities?
A: Golf, Scuba Diving (Both include a lot of contact with water....)

Q: What is your favorite club team?
A: Herfoelge BK (DK champions 99/2000), Tottenham, Werder Bremen, FC

Q: What is your best skill as a player?
A: My ability of shouting "Push forward !!" to the fullbacks. A dirty job, but some one has to do it...

Q: What do you think other think is your best skill as a player?
A: Always supporting the team by having constructive dialogues with our referee/linesmen friends.

Q: What is your biggest blooper in a football match?
A: An own goal from 25 meters in front of 600 people during my first out of only 4 games in the Danish "Sjaellandsserie". The second biggest blooper was an own goal in the second match.
