Mr. CEO is as Will Smith would have said it "the last line of defence". You can always count on Niklas in the back to stop the opponent from reaching goal even if it means running over him....especially if it means running over him....

Q: How long have you been in Bangkok, Thailand?

A: About three years.

Q: Why do you play football for the Vikings?
A: It's a great way to keep in shape and to get to know more people in Bangkok. Another source of great fun is the frequent tournaments that the Vikings participate in outside Bangkok, both in Thailand and other countries in Asia.

Q: When did you first hear about the Vikings?
A: From my colleague Johan Lagercrantz who had met Erling on a party. Erling explained to Johan that the team was very competitive and if Johan was not good enough he might not be able to play the games, but anyway Johan was welcome to come down and practice. The next season Johan scored 18 goals in 8 games, this convinced my that even I might be competitive enough.

Q: What previous clubs have you played for (kindly list)?
A: Kalvesta IOF, Spanga IF, Hasselby IF, Spencerport High School

Q: What age did you start playing football?
A: 7 years old

Q: Do you do other sports activities?

A: Golf, working out, scuba diving, and snow boarding (not so much the last three years)

Q: What is your favorite club team?
A: Hammarby IF (won the Swedish league last year)

Q: What is your best skill as a player?
A: Making sure striker don't score goals, by running them down

Q: What do you think other think is your best skill as a player?
A: That I am wasting my talent as a defender and that I should be a striker making goals instead. :-)

Q: What is your biggest blooper in a football match?
A: Biggest blooper two years ago for the Vikings was a beautiful score from 35 meters in the upper left corner of unfortunately our own goal.
