A: 1974

USA: Troll FC 1986-1990

Q: What age did you start playing football?
A: 15

Q: Do you do other sports activities?
A: From age 10-23 riding race horses (amateur rider) and still ride if the opportunity knocks, was 10-pin bowling competitively 1973-1979 and 1981-1986, and I still throw a ball if I am forced to do it. I like ice-hockey (Itrained the Spanish champions in 1980/81 and participated in the European Cup with the team) I started to play golf in 1999 and think it is a great game, and it is the sport I for time being am most interested in (after three operations in my left leg).

Q: What is your favorite club team?
A: 1) Vaalerenga IF ((VIF) a Norwegian elite serie club that this year is in the cup final) 2) Tottenham

Q: What is your best skill as a player?
A: Being a work horse.

Q: What do you think other think is your best skill as a player?
A: Likes to run (but where?)

Q: What is your biggest blooper in a football match?
A: It happened in USA in the eighties. I have always been a guy that likes to continue running further on after I have passed the ball to make myself available for the ball carrier to return the ball if he finds it convenient.
This time it seemed like everyone I passed to wanted to give it back, and I ended up near the opponent's penalty are before I or my team mate lost the ball. Then I had to sprint back to take up my position before the other team managed to threaten my defense area. As generally happens in amateur games, the ball generally stays at the same side until the goalkeeper gets it and kick it to the opposite side. Switching play from one side to the other is difficult for amateurs. "Unfortunately" goalkeepers as well as the other players kept the ball on may side.

After three fast sprints up and down (about 80 yards each length totals about 480 meters)in full speed, I was so full of lactic acid (melkesyre) in may thigh muscles that I moved only on will power. When I had to stop to prevent running into an opponent I had chased into our penalty area, I discovered that my thighs had no power left to stop me. I run the man down, and my team mates said afterwards that for them it looked like I had not tried at all to stop and run him down purposely.

I got a yellow card, the opponents got a penalty and scored, and to put salt in the wound, won the game 2-1.
